Artisan Cutlery Predator ATZ-1706PS D2 Blade G10 Handle Folding Knives

What We Like

  • D2 tool steel offers excellent toughness and edge retention
  • Smooth ceramic ball bearing pivot assembly
  • Textured G10 scales provide secure grip
  • Versatile Phillips head bit integrated into handle

Considerations

  • D2 steel requires more maintenance to prevent corrosion
  • No deep carry clip option

Overview

Description The ArtisanCutlery Predator is a beefy, full-size flipper. The handle is comfortable in the hand, while the oversized choil allows for a comfortable forward grip. The blade is 2.76" and crafted from D2 tool steel. This air-hardened, semi-stainless tool steel is more corrosion resistant than other high carbon steels due to its high chromium content and offers a good mix of toughness, wear resistance, and edge holding ability. The handles are made from textured black G10 scales over stainless steel liners and include a stainless steel pocket clip set up for right or left-hand tip-up carry. It also features a Phillips head bit at the end of the handle for added versatility.   Specifications Blade Length 2.76"(70mm) Blade Thickness 0.13"(3.25mm) Blade Finish: Stonewash Blade Grind Flat Blade Material D2 Blade Hardness HRC59-61 Blade Style Drop point Overall Length 7.08"(180mm) Closed Length 3.74"(95mm) Handle Material G10 Clip Material Steel Pivot Assembly Ceramic Ball Bearing Weight 2.99oz/85g Lock Type Liner Lock
